Back in November, Kira Garcia, one of our favorite contributors, wrote ” (2),” an imagined list of movies that “definitely pass the (3).” When we read it, we wished these movies actually existed: we would buy tickets in a hot second to see a lesbian couple moving into a haunted house, especially if their relationship status is inconsequential to the story. Well, we still aren’t able to watch the full movie, but the Sydney Opera House has made some trailers based on Kira’s treatments as part of their upcoming ” (1)” festival. If we lived in Sydney we would def be stopping by to check out favorites like Miranda July, Sleater-Kinney, and even a panel about letters! Aussies, you really have all the luck.
